Accountable for managing and maintaining the integrity of the pricing database, used to apply pricing to all corporate accounts.
Annual pricing sales responsibility in the amount of $65MM. Create and maintain customer ready price pages and pricing file.
Ensure margins are maintained at acceptable levels for all assigned accounts. Build cross functional relationships across the organization.
Job Responsibilities :
Key contact for Program Managers, Account Management Coordinators, Customer Experience Professionals, Accounts Receivables and Control Department, for information relative to pricing, tax discrepancies and vendor contracted cost
Activate initial setup and ongoing maintenance of all pricing on National Accounts
Focus on margin enhancement and margin erosion; work with Corporate Account Managers to alleviate potential exposure
Provide enhancement requirements to IT for National Account Matrix Tool (application for National Account Pricing)
Liaise with finance on processing of Corporate Account Rebate programs uniqueness
Reviewing discrepancy reports to ensure costing is correct and margin stabilization across Canada
Maintain tax Information for assigned accounts, in accordance with provincial and federal tax guidelines
Input, update and distribute vendor contracted cost data and documentation as required
Communicate with vendors on customer deviated costing for contract changes. (maintain specified lead times)
Generate custom reports for internal and external stakeholders
Analyze pricing for anomalies and errors
Qualifications / Knowledge & Experience
Superior interpersonal skills / versatile when interacting with different working styles
Exhibit a high level of motivation and a sense of urgency
Ability to work independently, be a self starter, takes ownership and is an innovative thinker
Problem solving skills
Advanced in using Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel and Access, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word & Outlook
Demonstrates a willingness to learn and has the ability to adapt to change
Knowledge of Veritiv specific customer programs and program requirements an asset
Post secondary education related to Business / Business Administration required
1-3 years experience in a finance based position; Accounting, Data Processing or Pricing is required
Advanced skills on MS Office suites
Customer Service experience is an asset
