PCF’s vision is vision is to make the everyday simple and better. The Manager, Fraud is responsible for providing fraud mitigation strategies and tactics for the PCF portfolio to minimize fraud losses via the PCB Pavilions while balancing customer experience.
What you’ll do Retrieve, analyze, and investigate / interpret large volumes of complex data in relation to potential fraudulent applications Lead the development and implementation of fraud strategies to drive incremental benefit utilizing fraud systems or tools to mitigate payment, transactional, and application fraud.
Use quantitative analysis to monitor effectiveness, and refine strategies as needed Conduct data mining and analytical assignments for ad-hoc fraud projects as required Conduct and develop investigative processes in relations to fraud applications investigations Act as the key contact between credit risk, internal teams (i.
e. Sales Team) and vendors in relation to fraudulent investigations Share new fraud trends, issues, significant control weaknesses or deficiencies identified during investigations Perform pre- and post-implementation and benchmarking analysis for various related initiatives Accountable for financial loss performance and customer experience generated by fraud strategies Create and maintain a reporting dashboard specifically targeting statistics related to fraudulent applications and investigations What you’ll need Post-Secondary education and 5+ years financial industry experience Experience utilizing SAS / SQL required Knowledge of fraud management solutions & systems preferred (e.
g. PRM, Falcon and / or TSYS) Cardguard and Determinator experience considered an asset Experience in financial fraud and rules-based strategies preferred Strong analytical and conceptual thinker with the proven ability to solve problems and make decisions based on quantitative analysis Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of risk control, systems- based fraud prevention, and basic banking processes Good understanding of credit card profitability dynamics and application of strategy to optimize profitability Strong data profiling and cleaning of data required knowledge of application adjudication and investigations Knowledge of retail banking products, behavioral analytics, and branch experience an asset #LI-VB1 Come and join a winning team who demonstrates innovation, energy, creativity and vision.
