We are looking for a Production Supervisor for the evening shift who is passionate about the food industry and driven by achieving production targets.
They will report to the Plant Manager.
Tasks :
Plan, organize, direct, and control production activities in a pleasant work environment while prioritizing quality and operational efficiency.
Closely supervise the various work teams.
Resolve production issues.
Assign tasks and mobilize staff.
Enforce discipline.
Ensure compliance with manufacturing, quality, and health and safety standards.
Contribute to ongoing improvement.
Perform all other related tasks for this role.
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience managing personnel in a production setting.
Communication skills in French (spoken and written).
Familiar with the HACCP method.
Knowledge of GMPs (good manufacturing practices).
Aware of the principles of production.
Good knowledge of Excel.
Leadership.
Rigour and attention to detail.
Strong production planning and work organization skills.
Strong personnel management skills in a non-unionized workplace.
Good ability to manage stress and emotions.
Ability to supervise multiple work teams and coordinate their production activities.
Communicate directives clearly and precisely.
Ability to make decisions.
Positive attitude and good people skills.
