Maxim's Industrial & Healthcare Business Unit is seeking an experienced Associate Business Manager to grow our revenue, customer base and market share for the USB and video extension market with products from Icron Technologies a Maxim Integrated Brand.

The role is a blend of account management, sales administration and product management. The individual will report to Icron’s Director of Business Management and leverage our technology advantages and ExtremeUSB® brand recognition to continue our success by identifying the right opportunities and ensuring successful execution.

Key Responsibilities : Account Management :

Account Management :

Managing directly Icron’s North American distributor accounts

Identify customer product requirements and track revenue opportunity pipeline

Sales Administration :

Create demand for Icron OEM products through research and prospecting and pass to Global Account Team

Work closely with the sales team on proposals and pitches for potential business opportunities

Product Management :

Directly manage Icron’s USB 1.1 Rover and USB 3.0 Spectra extender product portfolio

Minimum Qualifications

2-5 years sales / account management experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering

Technical Sales experience is an asset

Technically inclined

Strategic thinker need to build a strategy that gives the best chance for long-term success

Relationship-building need to connect with customers and ecosystem partners (OEM, channel partners, system integrators, etc.)

Initiative taker who seeks to close actions with a high level of commitment, ownership and with a strong sense of urgency

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both customers and engineers

Analytical and detail oriented

Collaborative team player as he / she will work with other teams in the organization and provide real world system level solutions to customer
