We are currently looking for a motivated Senior Program Manager to drive and manage the development of Graphics Board Products with experience in delivering hardware solutions to Enterprise Servers and Data Center customers.
This is a very fast-paced and dynamic environment, the incumbent will be challenged to :
Co-ordinate and drive efficient Graphics Board program execution through active leadership, clear communication, effective organization, and accurate planning.
Drive & track all aspects of Graphics Board program schedules to ensure all engineering and customer requirements are met from inception to large scale mass production.
Lead the implementation of Graphics Board programs in Enterprise and Data Center environments, including interfacing with and managing customer expectations.
Track Board Product samples demand, manage and develop appropriate build schedule working with Board Operations and SCM to mitigate shortages.
Proactively drive plans to mitigate any delays, and follow-through with internal customer prioritization and allocation.
Manage technical issues, expectations and risk both within the Program Team and with internal customers to ensure products meet or exceed their production target window within acceptable quality targets.
Manage the sampling process for both internal engineering teams and customers.
Oversee material sourcing, particularly for long-lead components
Provide business insight as it pertains to board designs, and work effectively with vendors and partners
Provide frequent and concise updates to Program and Executive teams on plans, status and risk mitigation.
Simultaneously keep the bigger business picture in mind while focusing on program details to effectively drive teams
Drive process improvements initiatives in order to improve overall execution of programs
Previous PM experience in electronics field working on product development, ideally board products related
Proven track record in working with Enterprise customers and / or Data Center hardware systems is preferred
Experience in managing delivery of complex embedded hardware solution with Enterprise customers
Proven self-starter, with demonstrative record of taking the initiative and getting results
Must have excellent communication skills and the ability and desire to work within a team
Presentation Skills and relevant experience addressing Executive community as well as Program teams
Leadership Skills and relevant experience driving engineering and cross-functional teams
Organization / Planning Skills and relevant experience driving development schedules and risk
Coaches and mentors less experience staff members
Coordinates and leads team communications, including project reviews with management and customers.
May be responsible for coordinating actions and plans for several sub-teams into a cohesive whole.
Ability to influence buy-in on technical solutions in a multi-site, multi-cultural environment.
Facilitates problem resolution with other groups, both internal and external.
Deals effectively with people in tense situations and confronts and resolves conflicts effectively.
Proactively involves others in planning, decision making and implementation efforts.
Ensures that project goals and project objectives are met.
Makes decisions or takes actions that move items to closure without divisiveness.
Fosters a communication friendly environment in which everyone has the ability to express conflicting inputs.
BSEE (or equivalent), MSEE (or equivalent) preferred
Formal Project Management education, PMP designation is highly desirable
