level endoscopes. This segment is operated through MEDIVATORS. Life Sciences Water purification systems for dialysis facilities, including hemodialysis dialyzer and reprocessing systems, as well as sterilants and filtration products.

This segment is operated through Mar Cor Purification, Inc. and MEDIVATORS. Dental Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants.

This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.

Job Overview

The Supervisor, Inventory & Logistics is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Inventory Control and Logistics including planning, ordering, receipt and staging of products that service our Canadian customers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supervises personnel in inventory, materials planning and shipping / receiving teams.
  • Accountable for the attainment of operations inventory, cost reduction and budgetary goals.
  • Monitors inventory levels on a weekly basis and coordinates with the Materials Planners to maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Coordinates with other departments in setting minimum inventory levels, discuss changes in forecasted demand and provides updates on department issues and goals.
  • Oversees staging of work orders for shipping and delivery of materials.
  • Evaluates space utilization within the warehouse and the proper storage of goods.
  • Conducts cost analysis on transportation carriers to ensure cost, availability and reliability.
  • Oversees the reconciliation of inventory ledgers.
  • Trains personnel on Standard Operating Procedures requirements related to Inventory Control, Shipping, Receiving and Warehouse department to meet internal and external needs.
  • Sees that warehouse is maintained in an organized manner and that inventory and components are readily retrievable.
  • Evaluates and develops improved techniques for implementation and maintenance of Inventory Control, Shipping and Receiving.
  • Maintains inventory and warehousing standards as classified by the company’s quality system.
  • Manages staff time, attendance and performance as required.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree and a minimum of five years’ experience in inventory control, planning or operations.
  • Experience leading staff in a high-volume environment.
  • Experience working with and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, preferably SAP.
  • Results driven, innovative and action oriented; able to align and energize teams behind common objectives.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and works well within cross-functional team environments.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
