Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) one of the world's premier sports and entertainment companies, owns the Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL), Toronto Raptors (NBA), Toronto FC (MLS), Toronto Argonauts (CFL), Toronto Marlies (AHL), Raptors 905 (NBA D-League), TFC II (USL) and Raptors Uprising Gaming Club, the Toronto Raptors Esports franchise in the NBA 2K League.

Job Description

The role of the VIP Service & Hospitality Intern is to support in leveraging corporate assets / partnerships to deliver on VIP Service & Hospitality for our most premium clients.

Ensures all experiences run effectively and ultimately develop meaningful relationships that enhance our brand and retain membership.

  • Support with organizing and executing of client buzz worthy events to help build fan loyalty, generate revenue and enhance guest experience.
  • Work game day operations for NHL, NBA, CFL, MLS, LIVE & MLSE games and events.
  • Maintains guest loyalty by engaging in service of guests.
  • Support with the coordination and execution of premium events while ultimately organizing post mortem reports.
  • Enthusiastically supports and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards.
  • Manage transactions between VIP Services & Hospitality department, and third-party vendors.
  • Sourcing and securing third party vendors for all events and general inquiries.
  • Create & design gifting for MLSEs top clients to maintain meaningful relationships.
  • Maintain VIP Service & Hospitality organizational practices, helping improve overall logistical efficiency.
  • Adhere to all MLSE standards and policies.
  • Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution with a focus in a sport, events, marketing, public relations or any related field.
  • Available for Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, Toronto FC & Toronto Argonauts home games and special events, including evenings & weekends
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to be a team player at all times
  • Strong leadership skills and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communicator that can clearly convey information
  • Self-motivated, detailed and organized
  • Excellent time management skills and able to meet multiple deadlines
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and a high level of professionalism at all times
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
