The Receptionist is responsible for a wide variety of office duties in support of front-line administrative functions. Assisting with operational procedures for new projects is another key function.

The incumbent will deliver excellent customer service to all staff, clients and parties.Major Responsibilities and DutiesAssist the Executive team, Principals and Edmonton staff with travel, event planning and meeting coordination.

Provide administrative support to all Edmonton staff members and facilitates Edmonton office initiatives.Assist in the management of building security, such as the assignment of keys, fobs and alarm codes.

Reception duties including receiving, screening and responding to all telephone and in-person inquiries from clients, visitors and other parties and arranging mail and courier services as required.

Coordinate IT requirements for Edmonton staff in conjunction with the IT Manager.Maintain and monitor the office and kitchen supply inventory levels and place orders as required.

Ensure Reception area and boardroom are presentable, and copier room and kitchen are organized.Responsible to take minutes and follow-

up on tasks from meetings as required.Assist with office and company events from planning to implementation.Arrange company cars for fueling, cleaning and maintenance.

Ensure appropriate marketing materials on on-site.Ensure that the appropriate evacuation procedures are carried out in the event of an emergency.

Assist Administrative staff in booking in-house or off-site meetings as required.Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionally interact with employees, management and the public at all times.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities RequiredStrong knowledge of general office duties involving customer services and procurement.

Able to type 45 words per minute.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.Strong organization skills.Good analytical and problem-

solving skills.Excellent telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills.Effective written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization.

Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and In-design is an asset.A self-starter and team player.Strong customer service orientation.

Experience with photography is an asset.Experience, Training, Certification and Education (demonstrating requirements)High school diploma.
