Are you passionate about application management and technology? Are you looking to work for a company that values FUN?
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Application Release Administrator for our Head Office to be based out of our Vancouver or Calgary branch.
You will oversee and manage the application lifecycle management (ALM) process as it pertains to Long View’s Information Technology Office.
A Day in the Life :
Lead the application lifecycle management (ALM) program for D365
Perform coordination of analysis, business and technical requirements and provide present findings
Work with technical teams to turn end user and business requirements into solution design and implementation
Work with departments SMEs to develop test plans for application patches, releases, and new features
Collaborate with project stakeholders, from SMEs to executive sponsors, to elicit, analyze, and validate requirements, and manage expectations
Manage detailed ALM documentation including business requirement documents, deployment plans, estimates, quotes, and backlogs to guide the ALM sprint cycles
Manage conflicting stakeholder needs to drive stakeholder consensus
Manage and verify the fulfillment of department requirements through testing, quality assurance, and releases
What You Bring :
4+ years of experience in a DevOps or ALM consultant role
Experience with the following as it pertains to ALM :
Working with and managing code repositories
Knowledge of software development, the software development lifecycle, and its associated technologies
Good communication and time management skills
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
Experience with open-source technologies and cloud services
Security first approach in the delivery of ALM process
Strong BA sense and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
Project management experience, and agile awareness allowing the ability to schedule, communicate, and control delivery elements for different departments
Ability to manage competing priorities and expectation for different departments
