We are looking for 2 :

Data Analysts (H / F) CDD 12 months

Two vacancies for Data Analysts (m / f) have arisen within Syngenta in (Saint Sauveur) Toulouse. You will join the EAME Seeds department.

Your mission will be :

To work cross functionally across various business functions (e.g., Commercial Sales, Production and Suppy, R&D, Finance, etc) to analyze business performance metrics to a single point of truth for the Seeds business and provide insights in order to empower agile and data based decision making.

You will be responsible for :

  • Advise the Data Insights and Analytics on improving their analythical methodology / skills
  • Put pressure on data quality and data utilization with help of analytics
  • Explore and conduct analysis on business improvement opportunities (including ad hoc requests) and continuously seek out new ways and methodologies to analyse the available data and improve analytic methods
  • Responsible to build / maintain / own a centralized single point of truth dataset for Seeds business performance to support the ongoing season
  • Build predictive modelling capacities for the Data Insights and Analytics Team
  • Develop specific insights with the use of econometrics and build proposals on how to act / react based on those
  • Map out data needs and sources trogether with the business functional teams and IT
  • Provide targeted analytics and facilitate creation of Team specific battle plans
  • This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.


    We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience :

  • University Degree in quantitative field (math, economics, finance, statistics,)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with data analysis and preparation, including experience with very large data sets
  • Experience working with unstructured data sets is a must
  • Creative / Innovative thinking, interested in seeking out new technologies and in putting them to work
  • High-functioning communications skills (both verbal and written); ability to interface with senior leadership
  • Ability to build good relationships and work cross-functionally
