The Project Manager for the Infrastructure Operations and Support teams will work with Genetec’s infrastructure, support and cloud teams to deliver solutions to Genetec’s internal and SaaS customers to deliver solutions that are fit for purpose.
This position will report to the Director of Infrastructure and Operations and will assist in project and task forecasting, delivery, and user acceptance across the different offices locations and customers.
Facilitate the scheduling, prioritization and implementation of all phases of projects inside the Infrastructure and Operations teams
Partner with internal customers to help understand their needs and ensure the timely delivery of projects and large tasks
Communicate with team members and stakeholders the schedule, risk level, and scope throughout the project lifecycle
Track the state of deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
Assist in creation of user stories and requirements gathering for tasks
Creating and / or maintain planning documents such as roadmaps
Assist in resolving roadblocks between internal teams and external blockers
2-3 years of experience using Kanban and / or Agile management techniques
Fluent in English. French, Spanish or any other languages is a strong asset
Experience working w / multiple teams to deliver solutions that various customer segments
Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, VSTS / TFS is an asset
Experience working with either traditional infrastructure and devops delivery styles
Experience with Release Management
