We’re seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual who’s looking to support our team as a Data Intelligence Associate Intern.

You will be responsible for canvasing and validating industrial and office building tenancy, vacancies and building owners in your area.

Along with performing a variety of duties including searches, data collection and data management.

Who you are

As the Data Intelligence Intern, you’ll have the ability to make cold calls without hesitation while building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

You’ll have experience with database updates and have a keen eye for detail while meeting deadlines. In this role it is essential to possess strong organizational, time management and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

In addition, you will strive to increase accuracy of all information in the CRM+ system. You will possess strong communication skills and are a true team player.

What you bring :

  • A strong interest in real estate or urban planning.
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service at all levels for the organization and with external partners.
  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy, excellent product quality and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with MS Office including MS Excel.
  • Access to a vehicle is preferred as well as a valid driver’s license.
  • Bonus skills and experience

  • Previous experience working within a real estate environment.
  • Experience working within a professional services environment.
  • Degree and / or diploma in Real Estate management from a recognized post-secondary institution (completed or in progress) is an asset.
  • What success looks like :

  • Conduct a variety of information searches (availability, ownership, zoning, restrictions, tenant and transaction information) utilizing internal and external resources.
  • Assist with survey calling in order to obtain accurate availability and vacancy information
  • Database updates (property, company and contact information).
  • You are able to grow your role within the business through efficient completion of your duties allowing you time to take on new responsibilities.
