The Regional Director is accountable for ensuring achievement of key performance metrics for consumer and small business across all Corporate Stores.

They will be challenged with driving employee engagement to improve customer experience with a direct impact on improving customer experience in stores.

You will work closely with corporate partners, other Regional Directors and Area Managers within Ontario to implement strategic initiatives and achieve desired performance.

You have a commitment to operational excellence that is driven by your passion to deliver on the customer experience. You possess strong business acumen and are known for developing strong relationship you can leverage both internally and externally.

Responsibilities :

  • Assign quotas to Corp Retail stores
  • Develop and align quarterly plans to deliver results
  • Analyze daily the results of each area in region
  • Develop, with regional marketing and others, gap closure tactics
  • Execute on key programs as requested
  • Ensure corporate stores meet standards for store appearance (merchandising)
  • Performance manage areas on store operations policies / procedures
  • Review store performance on an ongoing basis. Own and maintain plans for optimization by market (open, close, relocate, consolidate)
  • Leverage DEC / RDDG processes to execute against location plans
  • Ensure profitability is a key criteria in all store location decisions
  • Motivate, coach and performance manage the team to deliver results
  • Regular time in field with Area and Store Managers
  • Drive a sales performance culture and reduce employee attrition rates
  • Ensure focus on hiring decisions, on-boarding and development plans. Emphasis on Store Manager development.
  • Qualifications :

  • 7-10 years multi-unit retail management experience in a senior area or regional leadership role
  • Proven ability to develop and drive a word class sales and service culture and make strong hiring and retention decisions
  • Post-Secondary degree in business management a strong asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior organizational and planning skills
  • Proven ability to develop, foster and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
  • Shift : No Selection

    Travel Requirements : Up to 50%
