Reporting to the Team Leader, the CYFCH Administrative Clerk provides general administrative support services to the CYFCH programs.
Types routine, complex and confidential reports, correspondence, forms, etc.; designs the layout and format of brochures / pamphlets and educational material;
creates and maintains spreadsheets and receives incoming calls and in-person inquiries. Provides relief coverage for the Team Leader that may include the scheduling of casual Public Health Nurses and data entry into the electronic database and documentation system.
Inputs data critical to maintain program statistics and client health records. Travel is a requirement of this position and transportation arrangements must meet the operational requirements of the Vancouver Island Health Authority.
Education, Training And Experience
High school graduation, Secretarial or Office Administration Certificate, Medical Terminology and one (1) year recent, related experience including experience with patient scheduling and spreadsheet and database applications;
or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid BC Drivers License.

Ability to keyboard at 50 wpm.
