On behalf of BCI’s clients, the Infrastructure & Renewable Resources team invests globally in companies that offer exposure to infrastructure assets that provide stable long-term results with minimal substitution risk.
These include investments in sectors such as water, electricity, gas, and transport infrastructure as well as tangible assets in the natural resources space such as timberland and agriculture.
The team invests in a variety of capacities including as a sole sponsor, co-sponsor, or co-investor and very selectively through externally managed funds.
In these capacities, the team seeks to take an active oversight role built on a foundation of trusted relationships with all stakeholders and a commitment to long-term value creation.
The Analyst is part of the Portfolio Management & Insights team and reports to the Senior Principal. The Analyst contributes to protecting, growing, and realizing the value of the portfolio by : 1) analyzing and providing investment recommendations in respect to the Group’s FX hedging activities (currently CAD$9.
3) providing support for portfolio monitoring and analytics; and 4) assisting with client reporting, presentations, and data requirements.
The position also works on many ad hoc portfolio projects that require detailed analysis and a good understanding of financial and investment markets.
