Position Type : Permanent, Full-Time
The Junior Product Manager supports the Senior Product Manager in ensuring that Sinclair products stay competitive in the market and that Sinclair maintains an industry leader.
The Junior Product Manager will manage the full lifecycle of Sinclairâ€™s products. The ideal candidate will not only possess a strong technical aptitude and business acumen, but also has extensive experience in market research and business case development.
Prepare product launch plans and coordinate product development with associated departments
Analyze features, pricing, profitability, key performance indicators and competitiveness in the market place
Visit customers and participate in industry events
Research and track competitiveness of Sinclair products and market trends
Monitor and analyze target market environment through direct market research
Assist the Senior Product Manager in : Identifying new product opportunities and preparing business casesEstablishing and maintaining product roadmapsManaging the full lifecycle (from concept to EOL) of existing and mature products
Prepare annual standard product price list
Maintain product pricing information on CRM / ERP
Support the Sales team on proposal and quotation requests including providing pricing for new products
Prepare / maintain product specification documents and the presentation on website
Conduct new product training for the Sales team
Ensure that all legal, regulatory and branding requirements are met
Other duties as assigned
Bachelorâ€™s degree in Engineering, Physics or equivalent field of study
2+ years of experience in RF or telecom communications
1+ years of experience in product management
Ability to deal with ambiguity and handle pressure
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Effective management of multitasking
Proven discipline to execute a product launch plan
Proven ability to write technical specifications and requirements
Strong communication skills (oral, written and presentations) in English.
Experience and / or knowledge of public safety communications is an asset.
Available and able to do worldwide travel (approximately 10%)
