Salary : From $85K to $90K per year

Are you passionate about Continuous Improvements, analyzing data and uncovering potential opportunities and then driving the changes within a Manufacturing environment?

We are currently looking to add a Continuous Improvement Six Sigma Lean Specialist to one of our client’s divisions in the Brampton area.

To be considered for this role you must have the following qualifications :

  • Green Belt required Black Belt would be highly desirable
  • Postsecondary education preferred
  • Exposure to a Manual or Custom Manufacturing Environment an asset
  • At least 3 to 7 years of experience working in a Full Time Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma Management role
  • Strong working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Tools (Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, Value-add / Non Value-add, Standard Work, Line Balancing, 7 Wastes, hour-
  • by-hour management, gap management, etc.)

  • Experience with Lean Implementation / Infrastructure and Kaizens / cost saving initiatives
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to analyze data
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time to other facilities in the USA Valid Passport Required
  • Responsibilities :

  • Engage, enhance and fully execute the Corporations Lean Management System
  • Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects through cross-functional team facilitation and project management
  • Drive the adherence of standard work and ensure the integration with Lean Management System
  • Network with other plants lean leaders to leverage programs designed to continually improve operations and eliminate waste, fostering best practice and standardization
  • Provide leadership by mentoring associates in the use of Lean Tools, ensuring transfer of knowledge, and creating a culture of continuous improvement
  • Collect and analyze the data on Plant processes, procedures, and performance using evaluation tools and make recommendations on improvement opportunities
  • Implement and enforce new Standard Work Documents and refresh existing Standard Work, for all work stations and products in the plant
  • Certify, train and audit employees in use, understanding and adherence to Standard Work specifications
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement new ideas, layouts, equipment, jigs, where feasible
  • Ensure processes are followed and consistent product quality is achieved according to internal specifications and external customer expectations
