The Corporates Legal group is looking to add an Associate Software Developer to the team at our new Technology Centre in Toronto, Ontario, conveniently located within walking distance of Union Station.

Our plan is to create around 1,500 technology and operations jobs in the coming years.

You will work as part of a development team producing maintainable and high-quality software using modern agile methodologies.

Legal Tracker is an industry leading corporate legal solution with focus in matter management, e-billing and analytics. As a SaaS offering, this product caters to over 1300 corporate legal departments in North America to streamline operations, control spend and get complete visibility into the legal landscape.

  • Responsibilities include but aren't limited to :

  • Maintain an understanding of industry trends and use this knowledge to bring new innovative ideas to the platform
  • Develop and deliver features to support roadmap
  • Own and be accountable for end-to-end deliveries
  • Support production deployments through proactive monitoring to prevent service interruptions and maintain a high level of service quality for our customers
  • Assist with care and maintenance of existing systems
  • Continuously be involved with training initiatives to evolve development skills
  • Qualifications :

  • You have a passion for technology.
  • You are self-motivated with the ability to work effectively on a team
  • You also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Your specific experience includes :

  • Solid academic record
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Your qualifications include :

  • Strong C# knowledge working with .NET framework
  • Experience with Cloud services and development (Azure preferred)
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server database
  • Good understanding of object oriented design, data structures and algorithms
  • Development and troubleshooting of customer facing software applications
  • Software testing, performance tuning within large and complex software systems
  • Education :

    Minimum Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer / Software Engineering
