Thompson Rivers University, School of Nursing, requires creative committed educators to join a dynamic faculty focused on preparing nurses for diverse practice settings.

The PN program anticipates having several sessional faculty positions in both practice and theory courses available for its fall, winter, and spring semesters, beginning September 2019.

The hours and terms of the contract will be negotiated based on qualification, availability and program needs.


  • Master’s Degree required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
  • Experience in nursing education
  • Three (3) years or equivalent hours of clinical practice experience in a relevant field of nursing
  • Exemplary communication skills (written, oral and electronic)
  • An understanding of and experience in the Canadian healthcare system
