Main responsibilities

Participate in the development process of new products;

Participate in the development of components and ensure the follow-up of the manufacturing of prototypes;

Design and model mechanical parts and assemblies;

Design and model mechanical parts and assemblies; Conduct research on components and suppliers, taking into account costs;

Responsible for the drawing, tolerancing and functional dimensioning of components;

Produce the technical drawings required for the manufacturing of biocomposite ventilation units;

Participate in problem solving by proposing technical and economically viable solutions;

Control the development stages of the project in terms of budget and deadlines;

Create follow-up files to optimize the progress of the projects;

Ensure the follow-up of drawing updates with suppliers

Collaborate in the writing and updating of manuals and technical specifications;

Document and produce project progress reports for R&D tax credits;

Perform all other tasks compatible with your duties.

Education and experience

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or any other relevant equivalent;

2 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing and R&D

Specific knowledge

Knowledge in HVAC (an asset)

Knowledge in 3D modeling SolidWorks or AutoCAD

Bilingualism in French and English

Skills and abilities

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Organizational skills and effective management of priorities;
