About our Client

Our client is a leading manufacturer ofspecialistsporting equipment. They are looking for a new Customer Service Rep to join their busy Burnaby-

based team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing a high level of service to customers and dealers over the phone, email and online.

To be successful in the role you must be fluent in English andFrench,and have previous Customer Service experience, ideally in a similar environment.

  • Provide exceptional service to all customers via emails, phones, chat and any future channels
  • Process inline orders received via phone, fax and email
  • Support the outside sales rep and the dealers within an assigned territory with proactive day to day sales & administrative support
  • Resolve customer inquiries and concerns quickly and with a sense of urgency
  • Provide product knowledge by communicating features, fabric properties, and function of the product.
  • Be the voice of the company by having a positive attitude, by proactively solving problems and by addressing customers concerns with the different teams
  • Educate customers about promotions and sales initiatives
  • Ensure that orders are released and shipped on time and in full, via proactive order management
  • Process returns and warranties as per our policies
  • Collaborate with the eCommerce, Operations and Customer Service teams on supporting and delivering best customer service practices
  • Liaise with our operations and product teams to address customer issues
  • Support the business with additional projects, duties, and assignments as required
  • Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience in customer service, ideally in a retail / wholesale / e-commerce environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Previous contact center experience, providing both email & phone support
  • Positive, energetic attitude and a quick learner
  • Bilingual French / English
  • Customer service oriented with a natural desire to care for the needs of others
  • A deep desire to make a difference for the customers
  • Coachable, adaptable, and open to change
  • An interest in running, cycling or general health and fitness is a strong asset
