As part of Henkel’s Semiconductor Packaging Adhesive business in the Americas, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing business plans for enhancing Henkel’s penetration into the Telco / 5G and Auto / Industrial strategic clusters.

The position will be located in Henkel’s Irvine, California global headquarters for electronic materials. You will be responsible for working with the sales team and the technical team to support the strategies developed by the global market segment heads and capture opportunities to accelerate growth in these areas.

What we offer

  • Execute business development activities for two key strategic cluster (Telco / 5G and Auto / Industrial) :
  • Working in conjunction with the Global Market Segment Head / Manager customize the regional strategy to increase market penetration, define account coverage needs, and drive support personnel in conjunction with the sales team.
  • Support the sales force regarding strategic cluster drivers and product technologies through understanding of existing and new product, technology, and application.
  • Develop, in cooperation with sales, new account relationships (ensure consistent customer interaction) and lead internal technical development projects.
  • Own & interpret customers product needs and roadmaps to develop strategic cluster roadmaps.
  • Aggregate product needs and communicate CTQ’s and business plans to Market Segment Head / Manager
  • Execute regional strategies for product positioning and define training and promotional needs for the segment or region
  • Support the sales team to achieve a year over year revenue growth
  • Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Materials Engineering is preferred.
  • 5+ years technical (business development, marketing, or engineering) background in Semiconductor industry is required
  • Experience in working with global key accounts in the semiconductor packaging industry preferred.
  • Ability to travel 40% domestically and internationally.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams preferred.
  • Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. strong literacy in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
