Performs both customer service duties in the store and sales activities. Utilizes the store's electronic cataloging and paper cataloging systems to serve retail and professional customer base.
Maximize sales growth of existing customers. Increases awareness of the company and the features and benefits of programs offered.
Acquires new customers within the assigned area.
Essential Functions :
Seeks out and calls upon potential new customers. Make sales calls to customer accounts
Provides information to customers regarding available company programs to increase their sales.
Completes and submits weekly customer call reports.
Encourages participation in the company's programs and stocking of the company's parts at the installer level.
Learns the competitions strengths and weaknesses. Keeps abreast of all competitive products and programs.
Communicates effectively with store teammate to improve competitive position and improve customer service levels.
Checks and maintains customer inventory levels and customer information files.
Greets the customer within 20 feet or 20 seconds of entering the store. Answers customer phone calls and serves in-store customers thru use of electronic and paper cataloging system to identify, source, and invoice needed parts.
Special orders or sources non-stocking parts as requested by customer.
Provide assistance to store manager regarding customer complaints or problems.
Knowledge of Automotive Aftermarket and familiar with point of sale and electronic cataloging systesm.
Requires sales skills, organizational and time management skills, working knowledge of automotive systems, understanding of cataloging index system, and understanding of manufacturing automotive components paper cataloging system.
Must pass a prework screen to demonstrate ability to perform the physical requirements of the job in a safe and efficent manner.
