CASCADES EMBALLAGE CARTON-CAISSELe Groupe Emballage carton-caisse, une division de Cascades, est le premier producteur de cartons-caisses au Canada, en plus d’être l’un des plus importants transformateurs de cartonnage ondulé au pays.

Le Groupe fabrique une vaste gamme de produits à partir de fibres recyclées pour une clientèle nord-américaine dans une variété d’industries dont celles de l’alimentation, des boissons et des produits de consommation.

La division, qui emploie près de 3 400 personnes, possède six usines de fabrication de cartons-caisses et dix-neuf usines de transformation de cartonnage ondulé au Canada et aux États-Unis.

Description courte Reporting to the Vice-President, Finance and Administration of Cascades Containerboard Packaging (CCP), the Commercial Administration Director supports sales, innovation and marketing teams, as well as the supply chain by being responsible for the financial aspect of sales and distribution for the Containerboard and Packaging units.

As a finance expert, he contributes to the development and implementation of the overall commerce strategy that enables better profitability analysis and increased margins.

  • Job Responsabilities To manage and define the direction of a team responsible for supporting sales, innovation and marketing and the supply chain for requests related to : Making sales forecasts;
  • The pricing of sales;Analysis of our customers' sales and profitability, including price tracking and discount management;
  • Analysis of distribution costs;The study of business cases analysis and the profitability analysis of innovation and marketing projects.

  • From a value creation perspective, implement a program to increase profit margins;Provide control in the management of departmental costs;
  • Establish and interpret the relationship between financial results and operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement;
  • Ensure that business objectives are met by implementing and tracking key- performance indicators; Support sales controllers and financial analysts by aligning them with business priorities and objectives, while providing them with the tools they need to achieve them;
  • Participate in improving the technology solution and re-engineering processes;Maintain an effective control structure to minimize the business risks inherent in transactions and fraud;
  • Ensure the reliability and completeness of the financial information produced;To ensure the development of skills and succession management for his team.

  • Desired experience You have a university degree in accounting, administration or finance and hold an accounting designation;
  • You have a minimum of 10 years of managerial experience;You have worked with SAP software, an asset; You also have an excellent knowledge of best financial management practices;
  • You are known for your organization, attention to detail, autonomy and you work well under pressure; You are comfortable in a context where there are several components to be defined and you are recognized for your planning and organization of resources;
  • You have excellent coaching, impact and influence skills, and you have leadership that encourages employee engagement; You are bilingual, both oral and written.

    Additional information The position is based at CCP’s Head Office in Saint-Bruno. You will need to travel occasionally to the various plants in North America.
