Ensuring technology resources are properly supported, tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
Complete infrastructure and network configuration and administration assignment on time.
Responsible for quick resolution of all data-communication related problems or outages. To be ON CALL as scheduled for after hour and weekend emergencies, and be accessible 24X7 by pager, cell phone and home phone number for any emergency situations that may occur that could render a branch or trading room inoperative.
To react and escalate as required.
Design and implement short and long-term data and network communication related projects, for changes and improvements.
Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
Maintain security, backup and redundancy strategies.
Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
Ensure quality of assignment reflects established standards, ensuring any hardware, software, network and infrastructure defects are identified, analyzed and resolved on time
Support and maintain production system according SLA and functional system requirement
Contribute to the technology innovations that will enhance current products and service
Require 4-6 years of network engineer experience.
Require wide variety of skills and expertise regarding network communications equipment, configuration, and protocols.
Degree or equivalent courses (CISCO certified) in communications technology and advanced electronics.
Require skills in Active Directory (DHCP, DNS, Group Policy management)
Require project management and follow-up documentation skills.
Ability to perform some physical work as this position requires moving / deploying network equipment.
Require skills in managing Windows Servers and Linux Servers both on premise and Cloud (Azure, Private cloud).
Ability to work flexible / extended hours as required, including occasional after-hours / weekend and on-call support.
4-6 years experience on CISCO platforms and hardware are preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written)
Knowledge of Cyber Security (CISSP) and require skills in managing networking and firewall.
Knowledge of IT Service Desk and change management
Knowledge in ITIL process.
Degree in Computer Science or related field.
