SUMMARY : The Director, Canadian Public Sector Sales is responsible for leading and developing a team of Account Managers who are tasked with building and maintaining positive, trust-based relationships at all levels of their assigned accounts, including senior executives across Federal, Provincial and Municipal governments.
Successful individuals in this role are able to motivate and lead individuals, discuss business strategies, are familiar with government procurement vehicles, understand and explain complex technical solutions, and create senior level account relationships.
This person must coordinate and leverage multiple functions across BlackBerry, yet remain personally accountable for everything related to his / her team and associated customers.
Success is measured by the total penetration of BlackBerry solutions within the assigned accounts, individual performance of each team member, and overall performance of the entire assigned team.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor's degree or equivalent 10 years of successful Enterprise Level Sales Leadership experience within the Canadian Public Sector market as measured by sales performance against forecasting and goals, as well as demonstrated ability to manage a complex sales cycle 15+ years overall experience in Enterprise Level Software selling required.
