POSITION : Document Management Centre Associate LOCATION : Toronto, ON (M5J 0A3) STATUS : Contract (6 months) JOB OVERVIEW We are currently seeking a Document Management Centre Associate to join our Document Management Centre (within our Dealer Operations team).

In this role, the successful candidate is expected to perform various duties within the Document Management Centre including back-

end scanning and front-end scanning for the Assante Cage.


  • Process Back-end and Front- end documents of hard copy paperwork by :
  • Sorting the documents by client name or account number
  • Batch the sorted documents in preparation for scanning
  • Scanning the documents into the processing queues and Compass A
  • Recording the document ID number and ensuring image quality and accuracy of page per document counts
  • Perform weekly scanner maintenance to ensure clean images.
  • Assist the front-end scanning team by splitting a PDF using PrimoPDF application and moving into the workflow queues
  • Open incoming mail from Canada Post; separate Non-Financial and Financial documents to be processed
  • Receive incoming couriers through the Bankers Window

  • High school diploma or equivalent; IFIC operations course an asset
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry an asset; Mutual fund or securities operations experience an asset
  • General understanding of PC navigation and software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PrimoPDF
  • Knowledge of industry back-office practices
  • Familiarity with Compass, indexing applications, and scanner stations
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities by suggesting process reviews and re-engineering
  • Ability to relate to people from both within the department and throughout the company
  • Demonstrated ability to handle special requests on time and in an effective manner
  • Works well as part of a group but also excels when functioning independently
