Your home office will be Quebec City, but you will be assigned to our Labrador City office for a minimum of 2 years. Here are some of the conditions that will be offered to you :

  • We are waiting for you! Description : By joining our team as an intermediate engineer, you will take part in engineering mandates in automation, instrumentation and control.

    Your role will be to contribute to different phases of engineering and work on the site. You will be asked to contribute to the preparation of service offers, technological choices and solutions offered to our clients.

    The incumbent will perform the following tasks : >

  • Develop and maintain a lasting relationship with clients.
  • Listen to clients and meet their high expectations.
  • Participate in defining the scope of projects.
  • Assign tasks to junior engineers and technicians and draftsmen to the project, review their work and evaluate the technical scope.
  • Participate in commissioning.
  • Technical Component

  • Prepare plans and specifications as well as detailed engineering deliverables (piping and instrumentation diagrams, location drawings, I / O schemes, loops and control commands).

  • Write reports, specifications, construction and purchase specifications and calls for tenders.
  • Prepare data sheets and select instruments (flow, pressure, level) and control valves .

  • Demonstrate Requirements :
  • Bachelor degree in Automated Production Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other equivalent education.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Member of a Canadian engineering association.
  • Experience in instrumentation and control design.
  • Experience in programming Rockwell control systems (PLC, HMI, VFD).
  • Availability for missions short-term and long-term clients or site.
  • Interest or experience automation and instrumentation.
  • Strength : participation in the detailed engineering of a mining project or in the energy sector.
  • Asset : bilingualism in oral and electronic (French and English).
