The successful candidate will have a Ph. D. in Management Information Systems, Operations Management, or Management with a background /specialty in MIS and/or OM, or an equivalent degree. In addition to courses in MIS and OM, the position may teach courses in Analytics, as well as a capstone MBA course. As such, candidates with experience – working or teaching – in these areas will be given preference. To support online options, a proven ability to teach in that format is also preferred. Candidates should demonstrate success or the potential for excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. ABDs will be considered for a tenure-track position, but Ph. D. conferral within a specified time frame will be required for continuing employment.
The primary responsibilities for this position will be in Canada, but Niagara University has both the main campus in Lewiston, NY (USA) and a site in Vaughan, ON (CA), the successful candidate will be required to certify that he or she is authorized to work in both Canada and the United States, and will be required to provide timely documentation of identity and employment eligibility. Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada will be given preference.
