What you will do
Responsiblefor the safe and efficient operation of the FMO building site. Investigateand resolve complex problems related to cooling, heating, and pressureflow.
Direct the work of the personnel assigned to that specific unit.Accountable for achieving specific operational unit objectives.
How you will do it
Assumeoperating responsibility for the physical plant
Adjustplant to respond to changing demands
Assignwork for mechanic on shift
Teardown and minor pump repairs
Alignmentof pumps and couplings
Majorfan and AHU maintenance and alignment
Minorchiller and heat pump servicing and trouble shooting
Minorrepairs to pneumatic equipment
Allmechanical maintenance duties
Completemaintenance records and work orders and input comments as required.
Performother duties as assigned within all building areas and buildings on the site
What we look for Required
4th class operating engineers or Trade Certificate of Qualification or equivalent or higher.
Must be able to speak, read & write inEnglish
Excellent verbal and written communicationsskills required
Follow instructions both written and verbal
Currentknowledge of Fire, Life Safety and Building Codes.
Possessa high level of Environmental and Health & Safety mindset.
Strongclient services orientation along with a sense of urgency.
Readand interpret Blueprints.
Aminimum of 5 years experience in all aspects of physical plant operations andmaintenance.
Workingknowledge of the Building Automation System, preferably Metasys.
Knowledgeof H&S act and all applicable CSA codes.
