Our Wealth Management group is looking for a Financial Planner to join their team in either our London or Calgary office who will own the following responsibilities :
Identify complex financial planning needs and solutions for clients by considering the client's wealth, life goals and other objectives
Serve as a resource for clients with complex needs surrounding financial planning, investments, insurance, tax management, retirement analysis, estate planning, succession planning, etc
Develop recommendations and identify areas of opportunity to assist clients in achieving their financial goals
Execute the financial planning cycle by creating, editing and proofing financial plans
Liaise between investment dealers, accountants, lawyers and insurance professionals
Other Financial Planning tasks including but not limited to; meeting preparation, RRSP, RESP and TFSA account tracking, research assignments, preparing report packages and completing data entry in financial planning software

Y our experience and education
You have completed or are working toward your CFP designation; post-graduate diploma in Financial Planning or related discipline is considered a strong asset
You have ideally 2-3 years of experience in the wealth / financial planning industry
You are inquisitive, have a curious attitude by continuously asking questions and looking for opportunities to make improvements
You have strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work well independently with minimal supervision
You display strong communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport and trusting relationships with clients
You ideally have experience utilizing FP Solutions software and are proficient with MS Office programs; experience using TaxPrep software is an asset
