Why is this role important?

The Senior Manager, Vendor Support is a newly created role that will lead a team of analysts in supporting the ongoing management of the Loblaw Data Insights & Analytics (LDIA) Portal.

The team is tasked to be accountable for servicing vendors’ regular needs and queries, including but not limited to trouble shooting technical support, data interface questions and general inquiries.

What You'll Do :

  • Lead a team of analysts who will provide vendor relationship support in a timely and accurate manner for data users and general vendor loyalty queries, including technical, financial and legal for 300+ CPG vendors
  • Proactively highlight opportunities to develop and enhance existing tools and processes
  • Support the delivery of relevant training programs that educates and engages vendors
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (Data Operations, Technical Developers, Category Management) to support vendor relationship management and help triage issues that arise
  • Coach, develop and mentor direct reports
  • What You'll Need :

  • 3-5 years of management level experience with direct reports
  • Strong team leader and ability to build and maintain effective cross functional relationships and influence across all levels of the organization
  • Thorough knowledge of Retail / CPG POS data (such as Precima Top Shelf, Nielsen MarketTrack or alternative retail data platforms)
  • Proven problem resolution and critical thinking skills
  • Extremely well organized, able to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Ability to communicate effectively to senior audiences both internally and externally
