Sales Representative - Canada East - ForteBioJob FunctionThe Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining all accounts within Canada.

They will introduce ForteBio products and perform equipment demonstrations as needed to create interest and sell. Job Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales quota through direct sales of company products in the assigned sales territory
  • Promote ForteBio products through sales calls, lead generation, on-site seminars, trade shows, and user meetings
  • Maintain and provide forecast of instrument and consumable sales to management as required
  • Develop a strong technical understanding of ForteBio products, applications, and competitor technologies
  • Collaborate with Field Application Scientis to provide technical presentations of ForteBio products at customer accounts
  • Manage resources to provide optimal pre-sales information, product demonstration, technical close, and post sales support
  • Maximize customer satisfaction to ensure and promote continued use and adoption of ForteBio technology to increase consumable sales
  • Responsible for managing orders through to purchase process
  • Ability to qualify and identify new potential target
  • Ability to drive a complex sales process with multiple decision makers at different levels within the account.
  • Ability to identify and leverage customer needs / concerns to convert Fortebio technology benefits into an obvious solution.
  • Fluent in English and as a plus in French
  • Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or related
  • 5+ years of Life Science sales experience
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Protein science / Proteomic market knowledge
  • High capital equipment expertise ideally HPLC, ELISA plate instrumentation, label free technology
  • Pharma market experience
  • Familiar in dealing with large academic centers
