Intent of the process

This inventory may be used to staff this position and similar positions in various work locations across the country on a permanent, temporary, full-time or part-time basis.

Your résumé.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

A secondary school diploma.

Experience communicating with a diverse client base (clients, family members, or stakeholders, etc).

Experience in preparing reports (including activities such as extracting, compiling, analyzing information and making recommendations).

The following will be applied / assessed at a later date (essential for the job)

Bilingual - Imperative (CCC / CCC)

Knowledge of Veterans Affairs Canada’s programs, services and benefits available to VAC clients.

Ability to prioritize, organize and manage a workload.

Ability to analyze and problem solve.

Ability to communicate orally.

Ability to communicate writing.

Effective Interpersonal Skills


The following may be applied / assessed at a later date (may be needed for the job)

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.

Experience as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces.

Experience in dealing with the Canadian Armed Forces military culture.

Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Experience in Conflict Resolution.

Experience operating VAC Client Service Delivery Network (CSDN) and Federal Health Care Programs and Services (FHCPS) programs.
