Our client provides solutions for network traffic visibility. Responsibilities 1) Serve as the Sales Leader, managing a team of business development executives to meet and exceed business objectives2) Lead the complex solutions sales cycles of the team3) Develop and cultivate client relationships 4) Resolve client concerns successfully5) Ensure department targets are met6) Develop short-term department planning objectives including resource requirements and client approaches7) Ensure team skill mix for the projects8) Identify and ensure satisfactory development skills required by sales representatives to perform assignments Requirements 1) Advanced degree or post-graduate studies 2) 10+ years of successful IT sales experience with companies selling in to the Fortune 10003) Former experience as a pre-sales Systems Engineer or strong technical background 4) Sales experience in an emerging technology company 5) Sales management experience 6) Experience in selling products in the network security market 7) Successful experience in working with and selling through channel partners within the territory 8) Direct knowledge and relationships with these partners 9) Long-term tenure at highly regarded technology companies10) Ability to work in a team environment, but also be self-sufficient, flexible and willing to get the job done in a small company11) Successful track record of consistently exceeding quotas12) Lengthy list of contacts and existing account relationships within the regional target markets13) Outstanding communication and presentation skills14) High proficiency and demonstrated success at identifying and closing revenue from new accounts15) Located within the defined region in a hub city with good connections
