Job Description :
Candidates should have experience with Aerospace specifications and engineering drawings.
Ability to read and interpret engineering and customer provided documentation is essential.
Strong knowledge in the use of computers with proficiency in MS
Office applications, i.e., Excel, Access, etc..
Strong Oral and written communication skills will be required to develop and present technical presentations, and provide activity reports.
Candidates to have at least a Bachelor of Science Degree in either Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
The Ideal candidate will have Demonstrated Experience in the following skills :
Rapid analysis of structural problems on aircraft, and provide solutions to help return the aircraft back to service safely.
Provide support to assess structural and mechanical systems supportability and maintainability issues and develop risk management plans.
Provide support for any structural and mechanical system kit-proofs, validations and / or verifications, as required.
Ability to perform Stress analysis calculations.
Understanding of the Technical Order publications and ability to navigate it to find desired information.
Understand material selection, Heat treating processes and applications of corrosion preventative material.
Knowledge of various structural aircraft and general knowledge of dispositioning aircraft deficiencies beyond technical order directional guidance.
