Our client, a very successful supplier to the automotive manufacturing industry, is seeking an exceptional Manufacturing Manager to join their Southwestern Ontario facility.

The successful candidate will be a part of a globally recognized company that offers technologically innovative solutions for automotive and industrial applications.

The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for the overall production of the Southwestern Ontario facility, which runs on a 3 shift basis.

Responsibilities :

  • Work assignments of the Production Supervisory Team
  • Meeting the customer's quality and delivery requirements
  • Working closely with the technical engineering and support teams for current production and future business
  • Teamwork with all internal departments is also essential to succeed
  • Customer contact is required for new program launches and current production issues.
  • Qualifications :

  • A post-secondary education
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Understanding of Automotive Quality Systems & requirements
  • High degree of flexibility & availability (in work assignments and hours of work)
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
  • Must be familiar with Plastic Injection Molding Processes
  • Highly organized and possess good decision-making skills
  • Superb computer literacy, including MS Office
  • Willingness and ability to travel as necessary
  • Working knowledge of IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO45001 standards, as applicable to the position.
  • Facility planning and line balancing principles
