Reporting to the Manager Patient Experience, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative, coordination and organizational support to the Patient Experience Office leadership.
The Administrative Assistant will provide confidential and time sensitive administrative services for the Patient Experience Office facilitating coordination with Southlake’s Patient and Family Advisors.
The Patient Experience Administrative Assistant will function with a high degree of attention to detail, quality of workmanship, accuracy and ability to priotize work in a dynamic, fast paced, team setting often working with competing priorities.
The Patient Experience Administrative Assistant is committed to providing the best possible experience to our patients and their families as well as our staff, physicians and volunteers.
Completion of Grade XII or recognized equivalent
Completion of a recognized post secondary office administration program at the certificate level or equivilent
Minimum five years related administraive support experience required.
Previous on-the-job computer / word-processing, database and spreadsheet software experience required;
Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint, Viso and Outlook required.
Ability to manage data to produce statistics, metrics, scorecards and reports required.
Experience engaging with staff / physicians / volunteers including patient and family advisors.
Relevant knowledge related to the Patient Experience model in an acute setting preferred.
Ability to perform duties in a professional and courteous manner and produce high quality work while meeting deadlines in accordance to Southlake Regional Health Centre standards.
Adept in the use of technology to support the program functions
