Our client is looking for a Sales orientated individual to join the Sales Department as an Inside Sales Representative. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for selling pipe, flanges, valves and associated products or services to reach business targets.

Through excellent communications skills and a knowledgeable approach, the Inside Sales Representative will help grow company revenue.

The Inside Sales Representative will also increase revenue through the creation of sales leads, reaching out to prospect calls, and establishment of ongoing relationships with existing and potential customers.

As part of the Sales Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for :

  • Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, returns or concerns.
  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information
  • Increase sales by cross-selling and up-selling to increase transaction profitability.
  • Present contract details in accordance with standard procedures and customer’s profiles.
  • Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery
  • Contact customers following sales to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Setup and maintain customer files
  • Gather information from vendors relating to shipment dates and expected date of delivery
  • Communicate to the purchasing department with respect to changes in inventory demand
  • Maintain records of sales calls, customer contacts, and details of meetings
  • Follow Quality, Health and Safety requirements, and company policies

    The Successful Candidate Will Possess :

  • Knowledge of steel and piping material market would be considered an asset
  • KPI and Results driven approach
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret numbers
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate understanding and application of effective sales strategies
  • A high level of Customer Service
