  • SUMMARY OF TASKS :

    The cost accountant will be responsible for the preparation and processing of accounting information more specifically related to plant operations activities.

    The accountant will analyze and interpret accounting information.

    RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Prepare monthly financial statements, analysis and reports on costs;
  • Act as a contact person for all assigned plant, guide and coach administrative personnel with respect to accounting activities;
  • Collaborate with all assigned facilities for the preparation of annual budgets;
  • Identify trends in the cost of milk and all ingredients related to manufacturing;
  • Prepare financial and production statistics;
  • Perform other related ad-hoc duties as assigned.
  • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • University degree in accounting, CPA title is required;
  • Have a minimum of five (5) years of management accounting experience in the manufacturing sector;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) spoken and written is essential;
  • Availability to travel occasionally to Canadian plants;
  • Very good proficiency in Excel;
  • Knowledge of BI, Maestro and SAP (asset);
  • Good sense of organization and planning;
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
