The Merchandising service Associate (MSA) isprimarily responsible for completing all assigned merchandisingreset and service-related projects accurately, on time, and inaccordance with merchandising and safetystandards.

The MSA follows detailed projectinstructions to execute merchandising strategy in the stores,ensuring customers are presented with the products that reflecttheir demands and represent Lowe’s strategic vendor partnerships.

Store reset displays must always be in working order and satisfymerchandising and safety standards. The MSA is responsible forbuilding displays, processing damaged products, rotating andpricing stock, resolving project issues or questions, checkingthird party work completion, providing proof of project completion,and monitoring the store for potential security and safetyrisks.

The Merchandising service Associate mustensure products and information are always displayed to ourcustomers in a way that contributes to an exceptional in-storeexperience.

Merchandising bay integrity services to be performedby the MSA includes; setting and maintaining intended planogramdesigns, organizing top-stock to merchandising standards, ensuringdisplays are properly functioning, clean, priced, down-stocked,front-facing and detailed.

The Merchandisingservice Associate is also responsible for greeting andacknowledging all customers in a friendly / professional manner andPARTNERING THE CUSTOMER WITH A RED VEST ASSOCIATE FOR MORE RELEVANTADVICE.

Your role

Product displaymaintenance and stock availability

Communicateswith Merchandising Service team regarding project priorities,scheduling, and project needs (e.g., materials, supplies,time).

Reviews and completes all assigned WIREmerchandise reset and service tasks.

  • Ensuresreset merchandise, including top stock, is stocked, fronted, fullypacked down and priced in assigned area according to planogram;
  • takes necessary photos of product displays and bay sets asdirected.

    Provides project information,updates, and feedback on project execution to Merchandising ServiceManager; performs pre- and post-walks.

    Identifies damaged products, removes them from the shelves,delivers them to Return to Manufacturer (RTM) area, and signs offon the products as defective.

    Assists inverification of buyback items and ensures they are pulled, prepped,and ready for shipping.

  • Installs, maintains,and re-orders any damaged signage and product brochures; ensuresPOP re-order stickers are current, clean, intact, and properlydisplayed;
  • looks for name, contact #, UPC #, re-order #, anddescription.

    Cleans, dusts, replaces damagedbeams and / or grids, corrects incorrect planogram steel elevations,rotates and down stocks items for easier customer access, andensures displays are in safe, clean and working order at alltimes.

    Repair / seal damaged packaging and boxesincluding peg-hook items.

    Operate powerequipment, including but not limited to lifts, order pickers andsimilar equipment as needed.

    Provides feedbackand analysis on service execution to store, market, and corporateleaders.

    Identifies and helps to resolvestore-level issues.

    Update / validate wayfindingand product location signage as well as digital maintenance of thisinformation throughout the store

    Store safety andcleanliness

    Adheres to all Loss Preventionsafety requirements including top stock safety, reinstalling safetycables, use of a tether line on power equipment, spotters, and useof safety devices.

    Successfully completesjob-aids in conjunction with the position.

    Detects common signs of shoplifting, theft, safety and / or othersecurity risks, and promptly communicates them to management and / orLoss Prevention.

    Ensures all reset displays aresafe and in working order and repaired / replaced asneeded.

    Ensures good housekeeping standardsare in place, and programs, such as Zone Recovery, are executeddaily to guarantee that the store (including work areas) is cleanand organized at all times.

  • Alerts FSA when maintenanceissues are noted (lights out, painting, etc.)

    Required MinimumQualifications :

  • High school diploma orequivalent
  • Ability to read, write, and performbasic arithmetic (addition,subtraction)
  • Ability to work overnight andweekends as required
  • Ability toutilize web based computer programs to accomplish assignedtasks

    PreferredQualifications :

    6 months ofLowe’s sales floor experience

  • 6months of experience performing product merchandising tasksincluding reading planograms, setting up and tearing downdisplays
  • 3 months of experience operating powerequipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similarequipment
  • Working knowledge of basic toolsneeded for the job (e.g., hand tools, drills,saws)
