As the AVP, Management Systems Transformation, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and program management of the Management Systems Transformation program.
The enterprise wide program is a multi-year, multi workstream transformation of the Company’s target setting, performance management, management reporting and analysis including processes, systems and data.
This role is a unique opportunity to help craft the operating model for the FP&A function across the company, to drive an accountability culture across the organization and enable the company to execute on its strategies.
This includes execution on its Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reporting project, continuous improvement of the systems and processes in place to ensure accountability and execution, and partnering with other teams (Internal Firm Services (IFS), Technology, Finance, Strategy, etc.
This role will also assist in the delivery of other Group FP&A priorities including the planning process, management and Board reporting, business review meetings and ad hoc analysis.
Key responsibilities :
Lead enterprise wide Management Systems Transformation program. This involves developing new business cases for projects, program management, reporting and tracking of key deliverables, key performance indicators and driving organizational change
Liaison to the executive leadership across the enterprise on the ongoing transformation of management systems.
Partner with support functions and provide direction (e.g. IFS, Group Technology and Group / Segment Finance teams) to deliver the program mandate and to ensure getting the process, system, reporting infrastructure are in place for the Segment General Managers and CFOs to be able to report on their businesses accurately and on a timely basis.
Keep abreast leading process and systems for the FP&A function, and benchmark our performance against best-in-class performers
Be a transformational leader with strong influencing skills

Delivery of timely, insightful information to support decision-making
Enterprise-level Financial Planning
Monthly performance management reporting and analysis
Ad-hoc analysis for CEO and CFO
Solid understanding of Manulife’s businesses, products, organization structure, as well as our peers and competitors
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in management reporting and analysis for a C-Suite audience at a large organization, preferably in financial services
Creative problem solving and implementing organizational change, change management and identification and implementation of process improvements
Highly developed collaborative approach, ability to work through others and influence change; team player
Experience leading large-scale, global Finance Transformation initiatives
