Your opportunity

Our Montreal Cremazie office is looking for a Senior Tax Manager to join the Domestic Tax team and own the following responsibilities :

  • Develop a sound understanding of Canadian Taxation concepts and efficiently apply this knowledge of taxation to situations affecting the clients.
  • Develop and apply innovative tax planning ideas through timely delivery of products and services that meet and go beyond the client's expectations.
  • Evaluate client business processes and policies, advise on tax policy and change to meet market needs, and develop proactive tax strategies to make business opportunities effective.
  • Build positive working relationships with clients and provides effective support for engagements.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and identify new business opportunities with existing clients.
  • Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team.

  • Y our experience and education

  • You have completed your CPA designation as well as the In-Depth Tax Program and / or Masters in Tax.
  • You have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in the public accounting industry, with a specialization in Tax.
  • You have extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal and trust tax compliance and planning.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and in English.
  • You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
  • You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
