This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To stage, weigh and process released materials according to GMPs, SOPs, and safety requirements
  • This position is ideally for a Solid Dose Manufacturing Granulation or Coating operator to support the teamFirst priority is for granulation experience followed by coating experience.
  • Complete mechanical changeover of equipment some physical steps involved
  • Cleaning of production equipment, rooms and general areas for production use
  • Prepare and complete all documentation applicable to production ie : manufacturing instructions, statistical process control charts, and incident checklists at the time of completion
  • Manufacturing development and commercial batch experience
  • Perform related computer tasks System experience in : SAP, IMS, CDISY, and eBRS systems preferred.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives
  • Trouble-shooting of equipment and process related issues
  • Able to be a team player & work in other Manufacturing / Packaging areas as required
  • Shift work is required (Mainly Days and Afternoons, with possibility of nights)
  • BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in granulation or coating in a pharmaceutical solid dose manufacturing plant.
  • Note : Granulation is the first preference for this posting, followed by coating. This is a must have for the position .
  • Working knowledge of production equipment and understanding of manufacturing processes as it related to solid dose manufacturing
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Team work skills working with another partner and a wider team.
  • Proven Technical Competency
  • Highly motivated, conscientious, self-managed team player, with experience working in a production team environment
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Other computer skills such as Word, Excel and Outlook are helpful in being successful.
  • Shift work required
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to use and understand automation pharmaceutical solutions such as :
  • IP21, eBRS, CDISY, FreeWeigh,etc.

  • Knowledge and experience with SAP production transactions or similar operation systems is an asset
