Summary

The Product Manager will report to the VP of Product Management and Marketing and will have responsibility for helping define and drive AI products on the edge including market sizing and competitive analysis.

In addition, the role will develop and drive the execution of a comprehensive marketing plan, including tradeshows / evets, email marketing, direct mail, webinars, social media, and lead nurture tactics that deliver a consistent pipeline of high-quality leads for Sales follow up.

The candidate must be results-oriented with clear metrics for all product management & marketing activities. The position has responsibility for managing internal web development and content development resources as well as outside marcom and lead generation agencies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define new product features and positioning in line with market requirements
  • Define needs for enabling product partners
  • Establish market-based pricing and pricing strategy for new products
  • Establish business case for new products and obtain management approval
  • Own creation of all collateral and messaging efforts across the product family
  • Planning, briefing, development and implementation of marketing strategy, plan and campaigns supporting new product launches, ongoing product promotion and brand awareness.
  • Drive co-marketing efforts with partners
  • Drive the use of research and lead generation tools including CRM, as well as internet sources such as social and industry trade media
  • Develop and implement a plan to utilize key resources of digital marketing including SEO, content production, pay-per-click, retargeting, email marketing, affiliate marketing, online PR, quality link building, social media advertising, social media campaigns and conversion optimization
  • Manage internal and external marketing resources
  • Analysis and presentation of marketing & product results
  • Preparation and defense of annual marketing budget

  • Use of digital marketing tools including, content production, SEO, PPC, retargeting, email marketing, partner co-marketing, online PR, social media posting and advertising
  • Use of analytics tools such as Google Analytics
  • Co-marketing and partner programs
  • Use of marketing automation tools / platforms such as Pardot, Hubspot, Marketo, etc.
  • Web savvy possesses the ability to edit web pages with HTML or Content Management System, specifically WordPress and track metrics
  • Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Physical Demands :

    This position operates in an office setting, and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers / scanners.

  • This is mainly a sedentary role; however, computer and office work is required. The computer work would require the ability to sit comfortably for long periods of time, typing / keyboarding skills, ability to focus on a computer screen;
  • bend, stand, lift files, and open / close filing cabinet drawers. The travel requirements would require the ability to sit comfortably for extended periods of time (including for long international flights).

    Experience / Education

  • Preferred 4-year bachelor’s degree in marketing or business from an accredited college or university in the U.S or a comparable foreign university
  • 5 years of experience directly related to working in similar roles driving demand for high tech products or solutions.
