What you’ll do
Reporting to theSVP, Marketing you will be a key member of the Marketing leadership team,inputting into strategic direction while providing guidance to the broader teamin terms of execution of plans that drive strategic priorities and deliver businessresults.
Marketing Strategy & Business Planning
Supportthe development of Marketing strategic plans (Marketing SVP deliverables,Executive updates, Board updates)
Provideexpertise on external Marketing landscape and retail, synthesizing informationfrom multiple sources to generate insights and recommend opportunities forMarketing and CTC at large
advising the SVP on risks andrecommending mitigations
Leadthe execution of broadly defined and in some cases unstructured projects onbehalf of the SVP; acting as a trusted advisor and integrator for Marketing’smost important priorities
OverseeMarketing’s Dealer strategic agenda, preparing plans and requiredcommunications
Partnerwith Finance on CTC budget structuring, in-year management, and variancereporting
Omni-Channel Marketing Planning & Integration
Lead thought leadership onCTC banner’s planning processes (multi-year, annual, seasonal) including the frameworkapproach, alignment activities, and ecosystem for in-year management
Integrate the use of customerdata insights (loyalty, customer segments, NPS) in the planning processes withmeasurement in place to inform decision-making and continued improvements
Drive customer-centricomni-channel planning across Marketing and cross-functional teams (i.e.Strategic Marketing, Promo, Content, Loyalty, Owned Brands, Digital, StoreOps)
Managefrom start to finish in-year changes to plan as directed by the SLT; this mayinclude time-sensitive changes to address performance gaps, budgetary impacts,pivots in campaign direction
Strive to continuously improveefficiencies in planning processes for optimal results (i.e. stakeholdercommunications, product in-stock availability, planning toolkits and playbooks)
Marketing Operational Capabilities &Communications
Design,develop and project manage new marketing capabilities as assigned (i.e. in-housingmarketing functions, customer data uses cases, omni-channel planning, media mixmodelling)
FacilitateMarketing VP leadership team meetings for continuous progress and integrationof Marketing’s strategic agenda; identify and recommend people, processsolutions with accompanying resource support as required (i.
e. processdevelopment, change management)
Overseeand direct operational initiatives that impact the Marketing organization Non-Merch Procurement projects, Active Media credit use, Investor Relationsrequests, etc.
liaise with Corporate Communication and key stakeholder for materials / keymessage development
Proactivelymanage and support the day-to-day operations of the SVP’s office effectivemeeting management, material preparations, action-planning and progressreporting

What you bring
7-10 years experience in Marketing,Strategic Planning, Portfolio Management or related field
Experience interfacing with alllevels within an organization, including Senior Executives
Strategic thinker, with the abilityto connect the dots while also understanding how to operationalize strategicdirection and prioritize to get things done
Success building, leading, andinspiring a high-performing team around a compelling vision
Proven ability to build productivebusiness relationships with both internal and external partners
Proven ability to establish visionand set direction for a team even when faced with ambiguity or opposing forces
Excellent verbal, presentation, andwritten skills; ability to communicate complex information in an executiveformat and use art and science to tell a compelling story
Strong analytical and problem-solvingcapabilities; can see a problem from multiple angles and provide viable,innovative options for resolution
University degree inbusiness / marketing or related discipline
