SPUD.ca is looking for a full-time, permanent Quality Control team member for our Edmonton, AB warehouse (7039 68th Avenue).

This shift is Monday - Friday 7 : 30 am - 4 : 00 pm.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conducting quality control checks at the end of the pack line- being that last check to make sure customers are getting exactly what they ordered, and that they are receiving the highest quality of products!
  • Completing orders and adjusting invoices with attention to detail.
  • Receiving shipments and reporting any shipment issues as needed (shortages, poor quality, etc.).
  • Weighing items, entering information into the computer and making sure everything checks out.
  • Restocking shelves and updating inventory on a daily basis to ensure the freshest food is always readily available.
  • Take initiative and be willing to assist others as necessary, be happy to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
  • Additional duties as required.
  • Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience in a warehouse setting and / or within the grocery industry would be terrific!
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably, and be on your feet throughout the day.
  • Ability to work comfortably in a cooler all day if needed.
  • Punctuality, reliability, and productivity.
  • Ability to make quick quality decisions.
  • Team spirit and willingness to work together.
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude!

  • Compensation

  • $15.00 per hour to start
