We are hiring a supply planning analyst who will play a critical role in the daily execution of the supply and distribution plan across Eastern Canada.

This role is ideal for someone who has excellent organizational and problem solving skills as well as familiarity with food production or fast moving consumer goods.

What You'll Do :

  • Support daily operations, working with Bakeries, Warehousing, Transport and Distribution to co-ordinate flow of goods through the network
  • Maintain and publish daily KPIs and undertake process improvement efforts, focused on improving Case Fill Rate
  • Execute seasonal activities plans provided by planners and develop holiday and long weekend plans to adjust delivery schedules
  • Analyse and ensure all data management pertaining to product allocations and movements are maintained
  • Assist in handling special requests / orders from Key Account Managers and CSRs on major customers’ behalf
  • Recommends process changes leading to more efficiency in the supply chain where applicable
  • Supports the business with ongoing projects as needed
  • What You'll Need :

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Economics or Engineering
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret large amounts of data is required
  • Strong decision making and time management skills; must be able to handle multiple priorities in a faced-paced environment
  • Strong partnering and communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to communicate across varying levels is required
  • Previous experience with SAP is an asset
  • A good understanding of logistics and distribution gained through 1-2 years of experience is preferred
