Siemens is currently looking for an Operational Procurement Manager for Trench Limited (a Siemens company). The Trench group is a specialized manufacturer of high voltage equipment dedicated to serving the worldwide electrical industry, in both utility and industrial markets, through engineering, service and commitment.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide leadership, mentoring and professional development to the team.
  • Complete regular forecasting, risk management and planning for a number of relevant indicators and KPI’s(e.g. inventories, changes in inventory, employee capacities, etc.).
  • Analyze, control and report on relevant KPI (e.g. inventory assets, supplier on time delivery), detect and evaluate plan deviations, and derive recommendations for respective remedial measures.
  • Introduce and implement logistical requirements regarding material provision and delivery as well as material phase-in / out in the PLM process.
  • Plan and control assigned inventories and stocks (e.g. supply level, planning adjustments, etc.), and develops measures for inventory reduction (e.
  • g. logistical processes with suppliers).

  • Analyze and control logistical processes (e.g. Cycle Time, Supplier On-time delivery, etc.), in order to detect process weaknesses and to start process improvements.
  • Compliance assurance with Procurement rules & tools for supplier management and include supplier preferences to ensure the usage of competitive Terms & Conditions and by that obtaining highest feasible CNI.
  • Maintain and update supplier master data (if mandated) in coordination with Regional Procurement in SAP; archive documents according to local regulations to keep the database always accurate and up to date
  • Interface to internal customers (requisitioners), suppliers and accounting.
  • Keep all project participants up to date on all relevant Procurement related project information (e.g. updated contractual conditions, Supplier Management data).
  • Qualifications

  • Degree in management, business, operations or related field is preferred with experience in implementation of Procurement standards, regulations and guidelines.
  • Inventory and asset management experience required
  • Financial and analytical capabilities to monitor inventory, assess data and create reports
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to manage and develop a team
  • Advanced SAP knowledge in IM module and MM module.
  • Skills in Microsoft office with advanced MS Excel skills
