  • POSITION SUMMARY

    The Manager, Business Intelligence leads, supports, oversees and ties together business and technology, through software development and data requirements and strategy for the organization.

    This position is responsible for the software development team, data management, analytics roadmap, reporting, and business intelligence insights.

    They will also be the operational and tactical leader of the business intelligence channels and deliver solutions as it relates to the software development and data analytics roadmap.

    This position will act as a collaborator, support mechanism and influencer across departments; ensuring team activities are completed, working and collaborating with other departments to deliver high quality outcomes on time and within scope.

    ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years’ experience in a software development leadership role with project management and management of direct reports experience.
  • Recognized Computer Science, related Software Development field or equivalent practical education and experience.
  • Strong ability to prioritize activities and excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Well versed in coding and security best practices as it relates to software development and operational support.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and micro service design patterns, modern software design patterns and technologies.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of software delivery techniques and methodologies, solid understanding of modern programming frameworks, languages such as SQL and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to effectively estimate, develop specifications and contribute to business and technology solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service, leadership, motivational and team building skills
  • Proactive and energetic personality with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize using sound judgment to make timely and effective decisions
  • Knowledge of Access Credit Union’s products and services
  • Ability to follow standardized policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of risk management within the financial industry
  • Proficient computer skills
